At-Tawheed!

Bismillah Alhamdulilah wa ba’d:

With the permission of Allah, this section of the Riwayah Daily will be dedicated to posting benefits related to the most critical of all issues, At-Tawheed, to single out Allah in worship. The books from which we will extract benefits are: At-Tawheed Oh Slaves of Allah, by Ash-Sheikh Dr. Salih bin Fawzan Al-Fawzan, and Al-Quran wa As-Sunnah A’qeedatu Salaf Al-Ummah by Al-Allaamah Dr. Muhammad Khalil Haraas. We chose these books because of the benefits which are contained in them, and the simple style by which the author uses to explain these key points of Islamic Belief.

Ash-Sheikh Muhammad Khalil Harraas mentions on page 18 in the book Al-Quran Wa As-Sunnah A’qeedatu Salaf Al-Ummah:

“The belief of the pious predecessors, May Allah be pleased with them, it is the belief system of the Quraan and the Prophetic Sunnah, for indeed the preceding generations are distinguished from other than them in their belief. They didn’t take the opinions of people, and not the way of just anyone. Rather, they sought islamic rulings from the Quraan and what has been authentically reported on the Prophet Muhammad, sallahu alahi wa salaam. So when we say, The Way of the Salaf or the belief of the salaf, we don’t intend by this that these early generations invented a seperate way or innovated a belief, as others have invented and innovated. So if we said: the belief of the Salaf or the way of the salaf, this is the complete same as saying “The Belief system of the Quraan or the same of the Quraan..”
