Bismillah Alhamdulilah wa b’ad:

Ash-Sheikh Abdul Maalik Ar-Ramdhanee mentioned in his book “Sitta Durra min Usool Ahl Al-Athaar,” pg. 43: From those things that I can’t forget is the advice of our Sheikh Muhammad Amaan Al-Jaamee, May Allah have mercy on him, which was mentioned to us by some of our scholars and others, that he said when death reached him “Al-A’qeedah…Al-A’qeedah….I advise you all with that.”

In explaining the statement of Sheikh Al-Islaam Muhammad bin Abdul Wahab: ‘And know, May Allah have mercy on you, that the tawheed which Allah obligated before the obligation of the daily prayer and the obligatory fast: it is that you single out Allah with your worship.”

Ash-Sheikh Dr.Muhammad Bazmool comments by saying:

(…To single out Allah in all acts of worship, it has been made obligatory before the obligation of other legislative matters. For indeed the first affair that the Prophet, sallahu alahi wa salaam, called the people to was “To declare that there is no diety worthy of being worshipped in truth except Allah, and that Muhammad is the slave and messenger of Allah.”

So the First Obligation Upon the Servant: To recognize that Allah alone is to be intended by worship, and not other than him. It has been narrated on the authority of Ibn Umar that the Prophet, sallahu alahi wa salaam, said:

“I have been commanded to fight the people until they declare that there is no diety worthy of being worshipped except Allah and that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah, to establish the prayer, give the charity; and if they carry out this, there blood and wealth is protected, except with the right of Al-Islaam, and their reckoning is with Allah.” Collected by Al-Bukhari in the Book of Al-Imaan

And the Prophet, sallahu alahi wa salaam, said to his Uncle, Abi Talib:

“Oh Uncle; declare that there is no deity worthy of being worshipped except Allah, by which I can bear testimony in front of Allah of your Imaan, on the day of judgement, and Abu Jahl said to him, “Will you leave that which your forefathers were upon; so he died upon shirk.”

And the statement of Allah was revealed: “Indeed you don’t guide whom you love, but Allah guides whom he wills; and he knows best those who are the guided.” Sura Al-Qasas:56)

Gentleness Oh Caller to Allah!

The following is advice from the Noble Sheikh Rabee’ bin Hadee Al-Madkhalee to brothers in Libya, emphasizing gentleness, love, and mercy with one another. Indeed it is a reminder for all of us. This meeting took place Wednesday evening Rajab 13, 1427 Hijri.

                            بســـــــم الله الرحمن الرحيم

الحمد لله والصلاة والسلام على رسول الله وعلى آله وصحبه ومن اتبع هداه

I advise myself, my brothers, and loved ones, for the pleasure of Allah, with what Allah advised the first and last of the people: indeed it is the fear of Allah, the Most High, and to have sincerity for Allah in every statement and action. I advise that you hold firm to the book of Allah and to the way of his prophet, sallahu alahi wa salaam, and to be upon the way of the pious predecessors in affairs of belief, manhaj, and mannerisms. I advise, as well, with brotherhood and having love in the way of Allah, and also everything else that this noble d’awah seeks. So whoever is blessed with these manners and beliefs has attained an immense fortune. Allah chooses for his d’awah (call) those who he sees fit for it, so be fit for this call, in terms of belief, manners, and actions, and carry out everything that this da’wah calls to, from the things that make the hearts love it, and necks turn toward it.

I advise with, after this brotherhood in the way of Allah, showing mercy and gentleness to one another. For indeed Ash-Shaytain strives hard; and the most beloved thing to him is division and disunity between brothers and loved ones.

Allah, The Most High, says:

“And say to My slaves that they should (only) say those words that are the best. (Because) Shaitân (Satan) verily, sows disagreements among them. Surely, Shaitân (Satan) is to man a plain enemy. (Al-Isra 17:53)”

The Shaytain has found people to hear and pay attention to this division, separation, and disunity.

So I advise with the fear of Allah, to realize the plots and plans of the devil, as well as the plots of the human devils against this D’awah, so be gentle to one another, have mercy on one another, and let each one of you be kind to his brother. If one of you makes a mistake, the other should advise with gentleness, kindness, and with wisdom. Speech, if it is made up of these mannerisms, it will be good, sweet, and accepted, but when a person’s speech is rough, mean, and bitter, the hearts hate it and flee from it. For this reason, the Messenger, sallahu alahi wa salaam, said ‘Kindness is not in thing except that it beautifies it, and it is not removed from a thing, except that it makes it ugly.’ The Messenger, sallahu alahi wa salaam, use to advise his companions if they went out calling to Allah, the Most High, in different countries, such companions as Abu Musa and Mu’aadh bin Jabal, may Allah be pleased with them both, he would say to them: ‘Make things easy and don’t make things hard, and bring glad tidings, and don’t cause the people to run away.’ So pay attention to these important affairs, they are affairs of manhaj, or practical implementation, that it is a must to be concerned with and carry them out in order to preserve the da’wah, and allow it to spread to this nation, for indeed the devils from the humans and the heads of misguidance have caused this ummah to forget much of the Islamic Beliefs, Islamic Ways, and Islamic Mannerism.

I ask Allah to give you all success, to unite between you hearts, and to remove the filth of the shaytain from you. Indeed our Lord hears and responds to the du’a.

الغرور

city-lights1

Al-Allamah Abdul Aziz bin Abdullah bin Baz, former mufti of Saudi Arabia, was asked: What is the deception of the worldly life which Allah has prohibited? So he responded by saying:

“To be deceived by the worldly life is to become busied by it and to prefer it over the hereafter, due to ones love, desire, and reverence for it. So for this reason, Allah has commanded us to stay away from this deception, Allah says in the Qur’an:

 يَا أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ إِنَّ وَعْدَ اللَّهِ حَقٌّ فَلا تَغُرَّنَّكُمُ الْحَيَاةُ الدُّنْيَا وَلا يَغُرَّنَّكُمْ بِاللَّهِ الْغَرُورُ

O mankind! Verily, the Promise of Allâh is true. So let not this present life deceive you, and let not the chief deceiver (Satan) deceive you about Allâh. (Fatir 35:5)

This worldly deception refers to those things in this life of enjoyment, from women, gold, silver, agriculture, to other than that. So the one who has an intellect is not deceived by these things, and is not distracted and busied away from the hereafter. Rather, he prepares the necessary provisions for the hereafter, and he uses these blessings, which Allah has bestowed upon him, to be obedient to Allah. As for the one who has been overcome by the Shaitain and desires, due to his weakness in faith and small level of knowledge, then indeed he is deceived by the glitz and glamour of this life, and these affairs busy him, causing him to forget the right of Allah, and then ultimately he is destroyed, ولا حول ولا قوة إلا بالله. Heedless of the Remembrance of Allah

mekka

Al-Allamah Abdul Aziz bin Muhammad Al-Salmaan mentioned in the book entitled, سلاح اليقظان لطرد الشيطان, page 218 publisher Maktabatu Al-Irshaad:

My brothers, indeed heedlessness and neglectfulness of Allah are tremendous calamites. Allah says:

“And don’t be like those who forgot Allah, and Allah caused them to forget themselves.” Sura Al-Hashr:19

Whoever is unmindful of the remembrance of Allah, and allows the worldly life to busy him from working for the life of the hereafter, indeed he forgets to do the actions that will benefit him. So consequently, he doesn’t strive toward the hereafter and toward actions that will profit him. In addition, he doesn’t take on the causes that lead to happiness and rectification, and the things that perfect and complete him. Rather, he forgets his sicknesses, the sicknesses of heart, his pains, and doesn’t ever think about treating himself and finding a cure. Also, he doesn’t strive to remove the deficiencies and sicknesses that will take him to destruction and devastation. This is from the greatest of punishments. Is there a punishment greater than the one who neglected and lost himself, losing any good, and sold themselves for a despicable price, the sell of the wounded? This reality appears when a person dies and becomes clear on the day of Judgement,

“The day when neither money nor children will be of any benefit.” Sura Ash-Shua’raa:88
